You miss the actions you don’t take

Earlier this week, just before August ended, I found myself sitting quietly, asking: Where do I go from here? Fear crept into my bones. The “what ifs” wouldn’t stop.
What if it doesn’t work?
What if it feels like it’s working but collapses?
What if I’m just wasting my time?
I sat there worrying for hours. But here’s the truth: you can think all day long — unless you take action, nothing will happen.
The Year of What Ifs
At the beginning of the year, I told myself I was going to be better, make money, and create something meaningful. Instead, I jumped from one project to the next. I built Proganize, left it, picked up another project, left that too. Each time I failed to see progress, fear whispered louder.
I kept imagining the future: What if I fail? What if it doesn’t work out? Those thoughts became shackles. Either I was too confident, or I was paralyzed by doubt.
And after eight months of hustling as an employee and building on the side, I realized something: I can’t keep running from the leap. I love doing my own thing, putting my best into what I build. But fear kept me from committing fully.
The Year of Action
And yet, when I look back, I’m grateful. Because in between all the doubt, I did take actions. I built products. I worked on projects for others. I traded. I even tried content creation.
Did it all work? No. But every action taught me something about myself — my skills, my limits, my potential. And the lesson is simple: I don’t need to figure it all out today. I just need to keep improving every single day.
The Great Lock-In
So I’ve decided: this is the season of lock in. To hone my craft, master my strategies, and chase growth — not money, not fame. My only goal is to be better than yesterday.
I haven’t written in a while, but this feels like the right moment to say it: action beats fear. Progress beats perfection.
So, let me ask you — what’s the one action you’ve been putting off? And what will you do about it this month?
